An Introvert’s Holiday Gift Guide

Can you believe we’re halfway through November? It seems everyone is more anxious than ever to get things rolling on everything merry. For the extroverts, this holiday season may look a little different. For us introverts, it may be the most wonderful time of the year for real. Fewer party invites and planning, and more opportunity to cozy up by the fire and be alone. Just where introverts long to be, am I right?

I’ve been extremely fortunate to receive some fun goodies lately that are perfect for the introverts on your list. From cozy sweaters to delicious teas, read on and find some ideal treats for the loners and introverts on your list. Best part? I got something for every price range.

Cozy Up in a Project Social T Sweater

In my on-going quest to support independent businesses, Project Social T found me at the perfect time. While it’s easy to peruse the clothing departments at big-name chains and buy all of the sweaters, I’ve learned you really pay for what you get. Project Social T is locally operated in Los Angeles, and all apparel is made right here in LA.

I’m currently rocking my introvert life in this Syd Distressed Sweatshirt in forest green. Being pregnant in a pandemic means a lot of time to myself. So, you may find me lounging in it then easily popping out to grab food or walk the dogs in it. When I want to look perkier, I’m loving their Coffee and Sunshine pullover. Not only is it reversible, but the micro-fleece is incredibly soft. The quality of all of their items is something I just don’t “feel” when I purchase the cheaper, mass-made apparel.

Put the Kettle on and Sip some STASH Tea

Those who know me know I’ve become a huge tea lover. Since I was young, STASH Teas has been one of my go-to’s. This year, they’ve got some incredible festive-inspired flavors brewing and I’m already addicted.

Pour some Maple Apple Cider herbal tea to enjoy these final weeks of Fall. Its fragrant aromas will draw you in immediately. And with ingredients like Rooibos, you’ll be doing your introverted soul well.

As a Christmas person, I’m all about their Christmas Eve blend. Loose tea leaves boast cold night favorites like cinnamon, vanilla, even clove bud oil. As someone who always reaches for bagged tea, STASH made it easy for me. Their Folding Handle Tea Infuser and Glass Mug is ideal to keep it simple for the intimidated introvert.

Stay In-Touch with YOU

Sometimes, introverts may prefer to keep to themselves due to physical and/or mental health concerns. If that sounds like someone you know or yourself, journaling can be an extremely powerful tool. The Begin Within Daily Healing Journal created by Christina Kantzavelos, LCSW is unlike any other journal out there. Instead of the typical notebook with inspiring quotes or frilly paper, Begin Within invites the writer to chronicle their mind and body health daily.

From your mood to goals for the day, even to tracking your blood pressure and blood sugar levels, Christina has created a safe space for us to truly look at our habits and see where we may be wanting to improve, and where we’re thriving.

With this past year a…unique? strange?? one for sure, the Begin Within Daily Healing Journal is a terrific resource for the introverts in your life to keep a daily check on themselves. With each book purchased, you’re also giving back as Christina selects a charitable cause each month to donate a portion of sales to.

Light a Candle for some California Vibes

I think it’s safe to say that most introverts love candles, and who isn’t California dreaming? Sublime Lit Wicks makes some of the best candle scents around and locally in the San Fernando Valley. They have made me never step into a mall fragrance shop again!

Sublime Lit Wicks offers traditional scents like Eucalyptus and Amber as well as uncommon best-sellers like Nag Chopra and Fireball Whiskey. For the introvert who loves the beach, don’t miss Jalama, which pays homage to the state beach in Lompoc, California.

In addition to candles, grab your introverts and jewelry lovers an entire array of unique (and affordable) gifts. They make necklaces, drink coasters, even one-of-a-kind skateboards. Follow them on Instagram and shoot them a direct message to place an order.

And speaking of Instagram, make sure you’re following Along Comes Mary’s. You can check out my Holiday Guides in the Highlights to see more of these and other products up close and personal. xo

(Special thanks to Project Social T, STASH Teas, Christina Kantzavelos, and Sublime Lit Wicks for helping make this post possible. All opinions are my own.)
