Giveaway to The LA Travel & Adventure Show Ends 1-25!

Next month is The 10th Annual Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show, & with yours truly covering more Travel on Along Comes Mary, I am super excited to be going. I will admit, I kind of don’t know what to expect! So, when I checked out the web-site, I was thrilled to see so much to choose from for this up-coming weekend in Long Beach, like:

Taste of Travel Stage

Wake up your senses at the Taste of Travel Stage! Nothing connects a traveler more to a destination than food.  At the Taste of Travel Stage, you’ll transport your taste buds and discover the unique cultural flavors of local, regional, and worldwide cuisine.

Speakers like Samantha Brown

Samantha Brown has spent more than a decade at Travel Channel.  Living in airports, hotels and out of a suitcase, she’s taken viewers on intimate, off-the-beaten-path journeys discovering exotic destinations – whether around the world or in their own backyard.

An inspirational resource for prospective travelers, Brown has truly enjoyed showing the Travel Channel audience how extraordinary it is to be a part of everyday life in another part of the world.  Brown’s travel goal is to prove that if she can do it, you can do it.  Viewers passionately follow Brown and her advice not only because of her experience and knowledge, but because of her warmth, genuineness and love for travel.

And Rick Steves!

Rick Steves grew up in Edmonds, Washington and studied at the University of Washington where he received degrees in Business Administration and European History. But his real education came in Europe — since 1973 he’s spent 120 days a year in Europe. Spending one-third of his adult life living out of a suitcase in Europe has shaped his thinking. Today he employs 80 people at his Europe Through the Back Door headquarters where he produces over 50 guidebooks on European travel, the most popular travel series in America on public television, a weekly hour-long national public radio show, and a weekly column syndicated by the Chicago Tribune. Rick Steves lives and works in his hometown of Edmonds, Washington. His office window overlooks his old junior high school.

Learn about destinations you may want to visit

Make sure to schedule some time at the Destination Theatre where you can get in-depth knowledge about a specific destination you may be considering from exhibitors, destination guidebook authors and more.  These wildly popular seminars are hosted by LA Travel Show exhibitors, guidebook authors and more!

And, this is also an ‘Adventure’ weekend….

There will be plenty of hands on activities like Seg Way rides, in-door scuba diving & rock climbing, oh my! 😉

I would love to go to the L.A. Travel and Adventure Show, but this giveaway is just for the show tickets, right? Not sure I can afford to fly there and pay for accommodations at this time. Too bad! My husband and I have been a little food & travel blog as well.
Have fun at the show :)I look forward to read about your experiences.

I would love to go to the LA Travel and Adventure Show too, but alas I’m too far away now. I’ll mention it to my friends that are still in SoCal. 🙂
