Strike A Pose: Happy Birthday, Madonna!
I am a huge Madonna fan, so of course I had to write about her today on her 54th Birthday….
54 years old?! Really?! She is the same age as my Dad! 😉 While many don’t always have nice things to say about her, perhaps they are just jealous; she’s in terrific shape, has top-notch vocal range & continually sells out arenas…I am still hoping to maybe attend her STAPLES Center show in October, despite it sold out as soon as it went on sale.
This is one of my favorite interviews from The Material Girl, from 1991, when her documentary, Truth or Dare, was about to hit theatres. I love the irony that twenty years ago she was looked on as kooky for filming such a movie; having a camera follow her around. Yet, now, we live in a world of Snooki, The Kardashians & loads of other reality shows…it is almost strange if we’re not watching a program where someone is brushing their teeth or eating dinner.
