ALONG COMES MARY

Everything is suddenly falling into place. I got approved today for my new apartment & will be in LA officially beginning this July. My Internship with The Hollywood Fringe is underway & reminding me just how much I love the theatre & my appetite for creativity is alive more than ever.

I’ve been letting myself just do what I need to do, & when I am not working or have somewhere to be, I am enjoying trying to  just RELAX, sleeping on the couch, cruising Netflix & being with Hammond….I always tend to feel guilty if I am being ‘lazy’; lying around, eating in my PJs, but now, with the pup–I can just say he needs his rest Busy days, I thought, were here, because of The Fringe….but, now, bring on the moving van & boxes!

I am super excited for FYF Fest later this summer, listening to a lot of My Bloody Valentine & The Breeders to get me pumped up. One of my best friends from my high school years, whom I have never met(!), my pen pal  from Vienna, is coming to the states & I will see her at last….she is one of those friends that knew every little thing about me back in the day….& she will be the 6th pen pal that I have met. Pretty cool, no?

I keep thinking of my new apartment….I already have some things in mind to decorate with…& you do not know how thrilled I am that I will at last have my very own parking spot.
Since I will be in Pasadena, home of the great book store, Vroman’s, I have been thinking I need to read more….do you have any summer reading recommendations?
